I have been extremely excited for Bernard and Natacha’s wedding
and cannot put it into words how utterly romantic and special their day was,
although the weather forecast for the 14th of September said 80% probability
for rain, Natacha said… Today… we WILL marry outside in the lush gardens and
the weather amazingly played along and made for vibrant, moody, romantic
pictures!
a bit about Muldersvlei:
“Muldersvlei Estate has a proud history and is
one of the oldest farms in South Africa and is numbered 31. The manor house, cellar and stables date back to 1817.
The old cellar was beautifully restored as a wedding and conference venue in 2006, while the old stables were converted into a country styled guesthouse sleeping 20 people shortly thereafter.
The classic buildings, professional staff, the rolling lawns that crown the splendid gardens and spectacular views all create the perfect atmosphere for an exclusive wedding or function. You need to see the Estate to fully appreciate its beauty.
MULDERSVLEI ESTATE is also an operational farm that produces plums for the export market, they grow citrus, grapes and vegetables. You will also see cattle lazily graze in the green fields of instant lawn.
Muldersvlei Estate may well be one of the best kept secrets in the heart of the Stellenbosch winelands.

A spectacular lane of oak trees leads to the old cellar that has
been converted into a gorgeous reception venue. It’s Cape Dutch white cloak
fits harmoniously with the sprawling green lawns and lush romantic gardens.
The large oak tree in the manor garden creates the perfect setting
for a romantic outdoor ceremony with the slave bell in the background
adding to the timeless grace of the vows.”
No wonder Bernard & Natacha decided
to celebrate their elopment at such a majestic and gorgeous venue!!
